We are urgently seeking a suitable expert to support a global player in the field of mechanical engineering with headquarters in the German city of Hamburg.The situation:
The company is obliged to submit reports to tax authorities in various countries. The reports are very different in terms of their form and content but must all be generated by the existing central SAP system. Contextual knowledge of the tax law requirements is therefore a critical prerequisite for this challenging task.
For our client's Polish subsidiary, this task requires an independent financial ledger for the Polish company code, a country-specific chart of accounts, a separate balance sheet structure and the adaptation of tax code specifications according to Polish law. Asset accounting, invoicing, and special documents for comprehensive reporting in accordance with applicable tax law must be adapted to meet Polish requirements.
Your work...
...will ensure that the legally required reports can be submitted with the correct content. You will work with a highly motivated team of colleagues in which your skills and knowledge will be an important asset. The team's SAP FI/CO consultant is responsible for configuration in the SAP system, possibly supported by another colleague from middleware programming. YOUR task is to incorporate the content-related issues from Polish regulations and to explain them to the SAP colleague so that they can be implemented correctly.
Your qualifications:
You are a trained auditor or tax consultant and an outstanding expert in current Polish tax and financial legislation
You have been working with SAP FI/ CO for many years because you are either in an advisory role or play an important role in the financial/controlling department of a large company, for example as a key user
You have been or were based in Poland for many years and are
- fluent in Polish (A MUST!)
- able to communicate very well in English (A MUST!)
- ideally also able to speak (some) German
