SAP MM Prozessberater
Tätigkeit:
1) Provide a service to the business by managing the operation and support of business applications for the client in the assigned process area, collecting and analyzing business requirements and managing on the implementation of changes.
2) Optimize system utilization and process implementation for the client in the assigned process area by continuously analyzing process performance and implementing continuous improvement measures.
• Partner with internal and external service providers for the support of the clients business applications in the assigned process area, monitoring the agreed service delivery.
Act as the interface between the business and internal / external service providers for the functional and technical support of the application landscape of the client in the assigned process area:
• Perform impact analyses and address root causes of recurring issues.
• Train and coach users in the offshoring processes.
• Handle escalations from the business and act as contact for service providers support topics.
Design and implement efficient and effective system solutions in the assigned process area:
• Act as consultant for business requirements and translate business needs into IT services, accounting for existing solutions and integration into the system landscape (functional design).
• Plan and manage the implementation of system enhancements together with internal and external IT service providers, including the effort and cost estimate and schedule.
• Evaluate solution design with regard to fulfilling business requirements, strategic fit, feasibility, efficiency, implementation & maintenance cost and sustainability.
• Monitor the technical implementation and ensure the solution fits the business needs.
• Arrange for cost effective support for implemented solutions and knowledge transfer to service providers.
Projects
• Participate in O&I projects as project member or as project manager, in cooperation with internal and external service providers, other O&I colleagues and internal business colleagues, in order to improve the application and business system performance.
• Responsible for the hypercare activities for O&I projects in the assigned process area, ensuring knowledge transfer to the IT service providers and a smooth integration into the standard support processes.
Business community management
• Provide consulting and coaching for local process owners and key users in the assigned process area.
• Actively manage the contact to the business community, proactively searching the contact to key users and local process owners for feedback and improvement opportunities.
• Provide trainings for business users and knowledge management on processes and best practices.
