Job Purpose

The Senior SAP FI/CO Business Process Consultant is responsible for supporting the transition between the end of the sales cycle through to the successful implementation of our Financial Close Automation (FCA) solution, delivering the expected business outcome with a satisfied and referenceable customer.

Responsibilities

As a business expert with in-depth technical FI/CO knowledge you will work across-functional business areas to identify, understand and define user requirements.
Lead the Pre-Sales activities as the Solution Advisor for our SAP customer base, communicating the business requirements and following through the processes from pre-sales activities to the delivery of implementation and training.
Engagement in the exploration and delivery of customer Business Value Assessments.
Create and develop compelling sales presentations that articulate the value of our solutions.
As a project manager you will plan, coordinate and document the actual tasks within the scope, to ensure that the defined milestones are achieved.
During the projects, you will give guidance to the customers' management teams with respect to other aspects, such as change management and organisational setup.

Skills

An understanding of Finance and its relationship with the FI/CO modules in G/L, A/P, A/R, CCA, OPA, PCA, CRM and/or COPA.
Knowledge of the business to business processes involved in finance and accounting to include the financial close, with day end, month end, quarter end, and year end experience.
Strong communication skills, with the capability of presenting to all levels in customer and partner organizations, from 'C' level executives, to support and technical audiences.
Strong project management skills to coordinate internal and external resources to support successful project delivery.
An in-depth awareness of challenges faced by large enterprises in realising long term programs and strategies.
Customer and sales focused, with the ability to influence both internal teams and customers/partners.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial, taking responsibility and ownership of tasks.
Experience with business analysis and solution implementation.
Experience working with SAP product modules and associated business and technical integration issues
