Software Engineer - English language speaking working environment - Airport/airline IT applications
Overall Position Objective:
To understand the business needs and requirements in order to design, code, test, debug, document and maintain Airport/airline IT products.
Summary overview of responsibilities:
- Design technical solutions,
- Develop software according to the Client standards,
- Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the Client guidelines,
- Participate in the validation/acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product,
- Produce and maintain software documentation,
- Support the end user in the production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to problem tracking records (PTR) and problem resolution, in the event of an exceptional situation even outside normal office hours.
Qualification & Requirements for the position:
1. Job experience
- Several years of software development,
- Experience in airport IT application development is a plus,
- Experience in linear optimization problem solving is a plus.
2. Technical Skills
Expertise in OOP development and Java
Java Enterprise(JEE)
Familiarity in web development: JavaScript (Lima, AngularJS), Aria, HTML, CSS
Familiarity in JBoss Application Server, Apache Web Server
Spring
Maven, Jenkins
JBoss Drools
Selenium
Know-how in modern source controls and IDEs (Mercurial, Platinum, Git, Stash, Eclipse)
Familiarity in database development (SQL, Oracle)
Familiarity in TDD and Agile (Scrum)
3. Education
Computer Science degree
Relevant experience in software development
English fluent, written and spoken
