Operations Support Manager (x1)
A proven project manager with a technical/infrastructure background in delivering and supporting systems in financial services. Primary role is to work with clients teams to design, test and implement a global support model for the new PC/E application. This role would be a 6 months contract.
Essential:
- Recent experience designing and implementing global support model for a business critical financial services application/system.
- Experience of designing and implementing 24/7 support model.
- Operational acceptance test deign and execution - including an understanding of creating and testing operational procedures/run book.
- Practical, hand-on style.
- Ability to work in Paderborn, Germany for 4-5 days per week and regular travel to Columbus, Ohio.
- Clear written and spoken English.
- Must have a current passport.
- Equipped with toolkit of best practices for implementing designing and implementing operational support (templates for support model, 24/7 etc).
Desirable:
- Technical understanding of, or implementing support for applications based on the Linux/Java/
WebSphere/DB2 technology stack. - German language (spoken and/or written).
- ITIL Service Management qualification.
- APM/PMP/PRINCE2 project management qualification.
