German Field Technicians - Dusseldorf & Stuttgart x 10 - day rota
Our client a leading mobile network provider is looking for Technicians to be based in two different German regions as mentioned.
Key Criteria
- Installation, configuration and commissioning of network elements in fixed and mobile networks (Mobile Access Knowledge is required)
- Integration of technology into the existing networks and network monitoring systems
- Conducting acceptance tests and other measurement tasks (safe handling of the current measuring technique, E1, STM-n, antenna and fiber optics
- Fault location and troubleshooting network elements of fixed and mobile networks
- Performing maintenance on network elements and technical infrastructure (eg operating rooms)
- Independent execution of switching jobs, retrofits and conversions by taking advantage of existing tools. Cramer will be used so a basic knowledge is required.
Key requirements
- Field technicians will have completed vocational training in the fields of telecommunications, IT, system electronics
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair in field condition
- Basic mobile telecommunications general knowledge required
- Standard Microsoft applications including MS Office, Outlook etc.
- Knowledge of IP based network technology
- Medical fitness for work at heights (G41) OHS requirement
- High Load Capacity
German language is mandatory for these roles and basic English required.
