Technical Author - Telecommunication - SOW - Best Practice and English
eCRM Euro are looking for a Technical Author, the successful candidate will have a strong technical writing background and an eye for quality. The Technical Author will be responsible for preparing various technical and user manuals based on existing technical documents and input from the technical teams.
Read developer's specifications on new functionality, and develop/update Product Documentation accordingly.
Update Product Documentation for removed/changed functionality.
Review existing Documentation and implement improvements in organization and flow.
Write Template User Guides for new Product Modules.
Organize and facilitate knowledge exchange workshops between Development and Test teams.
Prepare/review client-specific User and Administration Guides.
Provide backup to the Product Trainer on training materials and potential training delivery.
Develop best practices for company-wide document sharing.
Review any technical documentation as required.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the Telecom industry.
Ability to learn new technologies.
Ability to read and interpret technical and non-technical documents.
Experience designing and developing User Guides, Training Manuals, and Online Help using Microsoft HTML Help.
Ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals and groups
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with HTML required.
Basic software development skills required; JavaScript and SQL knowledge preferred
Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
Able to manage multiple projects/tasks at once.
