Job description
The Test Manager reports into the overall carve out program manager of Client IT. The TM will be responsible to manage the existing test plan and test scripts to completion according to the key milestones. As the tests are ongoing already, and the progress of testing determines the critical path for the end-to-end UAT cycles, readiness acceptance and cutover milestines, the TM must act in a very focused and hands-on way, chasing testers (15-20), suppliers (internal as well as 3rd parties, in total 25) and incident resolvers (5) in a persisting way and at the same time keep teamwork spirit high. The test manager is part of the carve out project management team and is able to establish effective working relationships with his/her colleague project managers (5) and stakeholders at Client assist (12 business process managers and (senior) management quickly. The test manager will be physically present at Client assist in Merzig at least 4 days per week. Availability and on-site presence during the test and cutover weekends is required. The leading language in Client and the carve out project is English. The TM must be fluent in English (both spoken and written). However the test manager must also be fluent in German (both spoken and written) as the testers at Client assist are not fluent in English.
