Your tasks:- System level hardware / software integration test engineer for Microsoft Windows .NET applications and low level firmware software controlling R&S mobile radio communications test equipment
- Specify system level integration and regression tests
- Develop system level tests for new software and hardware features
- Manual execution of test plans, automate reoccurring tests
- Perform LTE, WCDMA, GSM protocol, endurance and performance test cases with latest multimode LTE devices (USB dongles, modules, smartphones)
- Reproduce, analyze and follow-up on issues found in system integration and core development teams until resolution
- Create software test reports and report to project management
Your Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 year experience as a software test engineer
- Good knowledge of test methodology and test tools
- Good knowledge of at least one scripting language suitable for test automation (e.g. Python)
- Basic programming skills (e.g. C / C++ / C#)
- Good spoken and written German and English
Hardware / software used
- Software configuration management tools Rational ClearCase, Rational Team Concert (RTC),
- Bugtracking tools such as Bugzilla, Cleaquest, RTC
- Various test automation and test management tools (e.g. Ranorex, Testlink)
- IP-related debugging tools like iperf, ftp, wireshark, etc.
- Rohde & Schwarz CMW500 multimode protocol tester and CMW500 protocol testing software tools
- Microsoft office applications and WIKI tools for general project documentation and device management
