An OSS Solution Architect (IMS) is urgently needed in Stuttgart region on contract basis for our client, a prestigious international telecommunications company.
Responsibilities:
-- Participation in analysing complex customer requirements and proposing E2E solutions in cooperation with the customer
-- Understanding customer needs and translating them into delivery actions to ensure highest customer satisfaction
-- Selecting or proposing 3rd party suppliers/products for the solutions
-- Creating/modifying documents such as Interface agreements for OSS systems on top of IMS networks, HLDs, LLDs
Qualifications:
-- MSC, MBA or equivalent work experience preferably in Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
-- Extensive experience in service delivery, in particular profound knowledge of SI in OSS domain and software engineering
-- A background in R&D infrastructure, telecommunication professional services, or carrier operations is preferred
-- All kind of Java technologies, eg web services, MTOSI 2.0, ESB
-- Databases, especially Oracle, PostgreSQL, and LDAP
-- Basic knowledge: Java, SNMPv2/v3, SSH, CLI
-- IMS node interfaces and relevant NGSSM SBI & NBI
-- Competence in IMS and core networks
-- Expert knowhow for LLD & HLD creation
-- Knowledge in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is beneficial
-- Good overview of Open Source communities and development trends
-- Experienced in all phases of a software development process, starting from requirements analysis, architecture evaluation and design, implementation until final acceptance test together with the customer
-- Very good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
-- very good presentation skills, including the ability to adapt summaries and presentations of technical details to an audience
-- willingness to go on business trips within Germany occasionally
-- Fluency in oral and written German and English
