For our customer, we are looking for a Technical Manager (m/f) for a long-term project in munich.Summary Overview of Responsibilities:
A Technical Manager (TM) is required to provide accurate expert advice on how the latest software development technologies can be used in the products supported Monitoring & Automation team. Provide, implement and support innovative solutions for operational requirements. Its scopewill encompass console management, technical service monitoring dynamics, troubleshooting suites, automatic recovery of infrastructure and applicative failure for thehighly demanding operational business domain.
A Technical Manager will be technically responsible for the leadership role he/she performs for one or more products owned by Monitoring & Automation team. In addition a Technical Manager will also interface with departments throughout organization.
Major Responsibilities:
Analyze and validate end user requirements, for the purpose of developing and/or customizing operational tools required to support the application and system services. Provide technical leadership in the architecture, design and implementation of solutions.
Ensure that any software that is implemented uses state-of-the-art methodology's and meets our quality standards. Constantly keep abreast of the latest technologies available on the market and evaluate the potential for including these technologies in the solutions provided by the team. The creation and tracking of project and/or product plans to ensure new releases are implemented in time. Perform the role of, or work with Project and Product Mangers to ensure major milestones are met and new releases are implemented in time. Ensure new solutions are accurately documented and when required present the architecture and business case for said solutions to senior anagement When incidents or problems occur, help the operational teams diagnosis and recover from the service disruptions.
Your Duties:

Your Qualifications:
- Very good understanding of many Software Engineering methodology's (UML, Extreme/Agile
Programming, BPM, BEPL, ITSM, ITIL, etc.)
- Experienced with C++ and/or Java/J2EE programming languages and IDE environments
- Very good understanding of many standard web and application server products, such as Apache,
JBOSS, Glassfish, WebLogic
- In-depth knowledge of one or more Operating Systems (Linux, HP-Unix, Windows, etc.)
- Very good understanding of many standard markup languages and web service protocol
