I´m looking for a Technical Project Manager for an EDI eCommerce Project on a Freelancer base.My international known client is looking fort he following skills:
Start: asap
Length: 6 months (+Extensions)
Location: Munich, Bruxelles or Warschau (willingness to travel, homeoffice partly possible)
This position oversees the analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, verification, implementation, deployment, and support hand-over of B2B EDI solutions. Responsible for all plans, schedules, assignments, and deliverables, to manage the project through each phase of the Project Life Cycle. Develops detailed project plans, schedules work assignments,manages budget and monitors progress. Adjusts project schedules and resources as necessaryto meet project objectives.
The position is a project management position, but depending on the project may involve hands-on technical set-up, configuration and scripting work as well.
Coordinates resources internally and interfaces with team representatives from various organizations internally and externally. Represents the project team in project reviews and presentations. Tracks, manages and reports on risks and issues on all assigned projects.
Manages multiple small to medium projects in an international, multi-cultural environment. Therole requires the ability and willingness to travel (30-40%).
Requirements
- 5 yrs project management experience
- 3 yrs EDI experience; EDI Formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS), XML, XPath, XSLT, XML Schemas, flat files, CSV, and iDOCs XMLs.
- 3 yrs experience in designing, constructing, implementing and documenting enterprise integration solutions.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related fields or professional education/experience.
- Experience with Supply Chain and ERP systems (JDE) and EDI flows
- Detailed understanding of data integration, data mapping, cloud based services concepts, business data flows.
- Relational database experience (Oracle, DB2/UDB, or SQL Server) with basic SQL skills
- Proficient in MS Project and MS Visio
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English), both to technical and nontechnical teams, both internally and externally; strong documentation skills
- Strong analytical skills, fast learner, proactive and self-sufficient
Desired
- Current Certification in Project Management or certification process in progress
- Process diagraming foundation and methodologies and technologies such as UML etc.
- Experience with Trusted Link, EDI communication protocols (e.g. VANs, AS2)
- RPGLE skills
- Web based technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive web sites)
- Fax handling (RightFax)
- Archiving (Forcont factory/ IXOS)
- Agile methods (SCRUM)
- Experience working in an enterprise environment with a matrix organization
Change management processes, validation procedures
