Unisys System Operating Support (m/w)
Beschreibung:
In order to support our 24/7 operating team for the Unisys mainframe environment at near Frankfurt Airport we are looking for experienced Unisys mainframe operators who are able to support during shift hours (especially during nighttime between 8 pm until 6 am).
The requirements and/or needed skills are:
- Profound knowledge about the Unisys mainframe platform based on the Dorado series
- Profound knowledge about the Unisys OS 2200 operating system
- Knowledge about the host communication protocols (HtH, TIP, TLIA, MATLIA)
- Able to monitor and control all services running on the Unisys mainframe (operation control)
- Knowledge about the Unit Duplexing functions
- Able to handle the Unisys system management console (SPO – Single Point of Operations) including SPO switch
- Knowledge about the AMS (Automated Message System)
Control / use the Unisys service processor
- Knowledge about the “Multi Host File Sharing”
- Control / monitor the Unisys database
- Control / monitor the freespace environment. Act on freespace thresholds
- Handling of the SRDF (Symmetrix Remote Data Facility) functions.
- Handling of MDL-2000 (mainframe Data Library) and its console
- Handle the online application update process
Erfahrung (Jahre): > 1 Year
Notwendige Skills:
Typical tasks and activities are:
- Act on system interruptions like sudden system stop, auto reboots, network problems, Perform Frontend or Backend system switch in case of Hardware problems
- Performance monitoring and capacity management
- Control, start, stop Batch runs
- usage of Run IT Monitoring of the airline-related applications like Check-In, Weight& Balance, DataLink etc.
- Handling of corrupt / hanging transactions (restart, kill, delete)
- Incident documentation and reporting
- Documentation of all system incidents or impairments during the shift Capable to work in shifts
Sprachkentnisse:
Fluent in spoken and written English
Sonstiges:
Schichtdienst und Rufbereitschaft erforderlich:
Mainly during night shift in the time from 20:00 to 06:00
Remoteleistungen evtl. notwendig
