Operational Analyst (m/f)
Role:
The Operational Analyst plays a key role to interact and understand the operational business. He has the capability to analyze and resolve conflicting requirements. He will provide innovate solutions to shield complexity and help to implement automated solution for the highly demanding Altéa operational business domain.
Additionally, the operational analyst will participate to the strategy definition around monitoring policy, user interface frameworks and re-usable components.
The Operational Analyst needs to define and validate the qualification process for these solutions.
Major Responsibility:
- Identify, document and catalogue operational applications for Automation and Monitoring for Altéa applications.
- Provide training of these solutions and functional walk through.
- Participate with operational and development groups in the elaboration of functional requirements.
- Analyze operational requirements and change requests and provide feasibility studies and sizing.
- Write and maintain functional specification
- Participate to the qualification phase of the solutions and provide functional sign-off
- Own the deployment process and ensure acceptance of stakeholders
- Ensure solution integrity by validating and prioritizing reported problems
- Participate to the elaboration of business cases
- Host and run user groups or similar forums with stakeholders
- Acts as a functional entry point between Altéa automation and monitoring solution and Amadeus Data Center Automation - Participate to the definition of Automation and Monitoring strategy
- Design user interfaces in compliance with Usability Standards
Qualification:
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience with IT Operations/Continuous delivery of services
- Data Centre experience
Know How/Skills:
- ITIL knowledge
- Qualification in Usability processes will be a plus
- UML
- Object Oriented Design
- User Interface design
- XML/Edifact
- Knowledge on Linux/Unix and Relational databases
- Business Process Management (BPM)
- Familiar with Desktop office software (eg Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Rational Rose UML ideally or similar applications)
- OLTP experience on large or complex projects in a distributed SOA environment supporting high transaction throughput
- Business Analysis experience
