Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 2531 for a IT Project Manager (f/m) with Network and IT Security ExpertiseProject environment
In this Network Stability Project, the candidate will be a member of the international team of a global Swiss Insurance Company, working on the implementation of auditing, analysing and improving the global network software revision and version standards.
Primary Responsibilities
• Initiate, plan and implement the project and run project steering boards.
• As a member of the Project Delivery team, the primary responsibility is to define and deliver the implementation of products and services within Base Services vertical.
• Create work plan to review existing global network components in order to enhance stability and availability.
• Control plan monitoring and updates for project governance.
• Work with the core team and third party vendors and key stakeholders globally to execute the established plan and modify it, where applicable, to fit regional requirements.
• Identify and escalate issues and risks to project team lead as they arise.
• Manage vendors to carry out network component audits and produce reports outlining improvement possibilities.
• Act as project interface to the existing architecture team.
• Create up to date network revision audit documentation.
• Participate in workgroup meetings, testing and provide status updates.
Additional Responsibilities
• Assist in developing an automated process to ensure project deliverables can be repeated annually.
• Ensure project remains on track and within budget, helping to coordinate third party vendor invoice validation in partnership with team lead.
• Serve as the dedicated resource to assist in coordination of system upgrades / patches where necessary.
• Flexibility to conduct multi-time zone meetings outside of local business hours.
Requirements
• Strong Project Management background, ideally on a global scale.
• Extensive 3rd party / vendor management system experience.
• Knowledge of IP networking environments and devices.
• Familiarity with SLA's and service availability within a networking / infrastructure environment.
• Familiarity with IT security and access rights best practices.
• Proven experience of working in outsourced environment.
Soft skills
• Ability to define and execute projects with little supervision and according to a given framework.
• Accomplished presentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage.
