Project Manager: M7/PMI/Finance/Java/Agile
Key skills:
- Project management methods must be known (such as PMI or IPMA).
- Strong risk management experience
- Proven experience in managing customer driven software development projects with tight and challenging timelines
- 5 years Project Management experience
- Functional background of trading systems
- Experience in Web and Java Development projects using state of the art technology, Agile and iterative development methodologies and knowing of Jira and Confluence for issue tracking and documentation will be of advantage
- M7 experience
- Financial industry experience is preferred
- International experience advantageous
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is fully responsible for the management of the end to end project delivery.
This includes:
- Leading and controlling IT stages of the project life cycle from initiation, design, delivery and test to post implementation, adhering to known project methodologies and best practices
- Full accountability to deliver the specifications based upon the requirements, as well for the system development and testing phases within time, scope, quality and budget
- Management of scope from project initiation to project closing
- Effective management of project and business risks
- Correct budget and cost management of the project
- Management of local and near-shore teams
