Delivery EHS Manager - Germany (Düsseldorf)
1x Delivery EHS Manager - Germany (Düsseldorf) is urgently needed on contract basis for our client, a prestigious international telecommunication company. Location in Germany (Dusseldorf). Fluent Germany and English, along with similar working experience are a prerequisite for any application.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, coordinate, and monitor the EHS management system, ensure that the project management complies with the EHS requirements; Be responsible for Subcontractor EHS Management;
- Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and project teams on the EHS status in a timely manner;
- Organize the EHS control and sampling, accident investigation and reporting; Perform timely and effective handling on the EHS incidents/accidents and violations detected during the engineering delivery process to minimize the impacts.
- Organize the regular reporting to the project managers about the operation status and improvement requirements of the EHS management system and Supplier EHS performance.
- Assist the project managers in communicating with customers, employees, subcontractors and public about the environmental/occupational health and safety management system.
- Establish a comprehensive documentation system for the EHS management and record and document the management process.
- Conduct supplier EHS management system audits, as well as EHS onsite assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or Environmental or Occupational Safety.
- Knowledge of EHS requirements and compliance implementation experience; 5+ years within EHS
- Ability to coach, support and train managers and subcontractors with regards to EHS management awareness, legal compliance and best practice;
- Ability to develop and effectively deliver EHS trainings;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Flexibility and Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks
- Fluent English and German language
