Delivery EHS Manager - Germany (Düsseldorf)1x Delivery EHS Manager - Germany (Düsseldorf) is urgently needed on contract basis for our client, a prestigious international telecommunication company. Location in Germany (Dusseldorf). Fluent Germany and English, along with similar working experience are a prerequisite for any application.
Responsibilities:
Organize, coordinate, and monitor the EHS management system, ensure that the project management complies with the EHS requirements; Be responsible for Subcontractor EHS Management;
Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and project teams on the EHS status in a timely manner;
Organize the EHS control and sampling, accident investigation and reporting; Perform timely and effective handling on the EHS incidents/accidents and violations detected during the engineering delivery process to minimize the impacts.
Organize the regular reporting to the project managers about the operation status and improvement requirements of the EHS management system and Supplier EHS performance.
Assist the project managers in communicating with customers, employees, subcontractors and public about the environmental/occupational health and safety management system.
Establish a comprehensive documentation system for the EHS management and record and document the management process.
Conduct supplier EHS management system audits, as well as EHS onsite assessments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or Environmental or Occupational Safety.
Knowledge of EHS requirements and compliance implementation experience; 5+ years within EHS
Ability to coach, support and train managers and subcontractors with regards to EHS management awareness, legal compliance and best practice;
Ability to develop and effectively deliver EHS trainings;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Flexibility and Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks
Fluent English and German language
