Customer is building an IaaS platform for VLDB based on Oracle.The underlying infrastructure is base on HP x86 platform. Scope of the project is to build a data hosting platform (DHP) for Very Large Data Bases (VLDB).

Senior Oracle expert which is able to design a testing framework based on RAT (Real Application Testing). Engineer must be able to work out a testing framework which consists of specifying detailed services offered to users. It includes requirements specification/system specification/operation manual, installation guide and user guide. Users of the testing framework will test:
- performance impact between old environment and the new platform
- performance impact of a new releases on the new platform
- increase in workload
- and more: regression testing (evolutive/corrective maintenance), change of customer product class (DB Infrastructure) The testing framework needs to describe how RAT has to be installed and how it has to be used in each case.

Tasks
- For all deliverables (see below) the engineer needs to collect all required information from all stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Product management and others)
- Compile information into the documents
- Align all stakeholders on the provided solution and get a sign off
Deliverables For testing framework description based on RAT:
- requirements specification
- system specification , including:
o Blueprint specific to RAT
o Specification & Setup of 3rd Party Software (if needed))
- operation manual
- installation guide
- user guide
- Test cases / Test plan
Skills needed Senior Oracle expert, VLDB experience, Oracle 11gR2 base build/Linux (RH6), Data Guard, ASM Mirroring, RAT (Real Application Testing).
Good technical writer/documentation skills.
Oracle Systems certification expected. Knowledge of ?Data
