Architect with excellent understanding of Digital video network eco-system and with minimum 15 Years of working experience in Digital Media Convergence Networks especially Video domain (IPTV/OTT/Mobile TV/Digital Cable TV/Multi screen).
FLUENT IN GERMAN IS A MUST
Mandatory Skills:

Good knowledge of video services architecture for delivering linear TV and VOD/PPV/Progressive download/Catch up TV and content to multi-screen devices, including tablets, smart phones, and connected TVs.

Technical knowledge of Hybrid Fiber Coax cable plant technologies and video transmission equipment includes CDN, DOCSIS, CMTS, CM, Cable Telephony, Packet Cable, Video Transmission Equipment and STBs.

Good knowledge of Cable Headend for Linear TV.

Good knowledge of video eco-system for providing VOD, PPV services.
-
Ability to understand business requirement, network diagrams and architecture.

Good understanding of TV Everywhere (TVE).

Familiarity with latest technological trends such as Cloud computing. SDN, NFV Network DVR etc

Good understanding of wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi for providing video services.

Good knowledge of cable asset/content protection, encryption and scrambling with multiple Conditional access systems, Digital right management (DRM).

General understanding of Cloud based/SaaS Managed Identity Management and Access Management services.

Good understanding and experience in Cable B/OSS system.

Good experience in handling Transformation IT Strategy, Consulting, Architecture & Solutioning.

Awareness of Innovations & Emerging Trends in the Telecom and Cable Broadband world.

Strong experience in the BSS/OSS Telco and Cable domain. Conversant with Solutioning, Pre Sales activities cutting across different pillars like IMS, ASM, BPM, Security, VAS.

OSS/BSS Architecture Transformation and Transition experience.

Communication skills at CXO level as well as at conceptual levels, ie towards Architects, Business representatives and Steering Committee members.

Strong capability to research and develop new solutions to meet business requirements (for technology and service architecture).

Knowledge of various COTS product options for key Architectural domains (Best of the Breed and Tier 2 etc).

Awareness and appreciation of various TMF frameworks such as eTOM, TAM, SID etc.

Must have performed customer facing role at CXO level.

Roles & Responsibilities
-
Analyze business requirements and needs, RFPs and apply domain knowledge in cable and video systems and prepare solutions that address those requirements and need.
-
Lead on Solutioning and Pre-Sales for RFP/RFI responses.
-
Farming/Hunting existing accounts in the region to explore new opportunities and support the sales teams in the region.
-
Engage in pre-sales activities, such as solution design and customer demonstration/presentations, participate in RFP defence meetings on need basis.

Advise operators on how to improve their cycle time to launch products or resolve Customer Service Experience Issues

Work with the account team and work out overall winning solution for the bids/pro-active propositions.

Propagate the capabilities to sales and other appropriate channels for business expansion.

Develop collaterals for the capabilities and solutions developed.

Manage complex business transformation consulting engagements, develop strategies for services improvement, carve out the technicalities & roadmap for end to end delivery of B/OSS systems and change initiatives

Advise operators on new growth areas such as Quad play services, Cable Broadband, Multi-screen, OTT, Enterprise Mobility, M2M, Big Data Analytics, and Real Time Business Intelligence and to save operational expenses through Shared services & Managed Services model.

Proactively bringing new and innovative technical solution to sourcing initiative. Ensuring that the documentation produced is compliant with client strategy and business requirements and capabilities.
