My client, a Market Leading Telecoms Company based in Germany, is currently looking for a Project Manager with a proven background within the industry performing Project Management roles in the Radio Rollout domain. The Project manager will carry out varying duties to include responsibility for RAN build, RAN rollout, as well as RAN modernisation. The main focus of the role will be delivery of customer projects, Supporting a variety of business and functional requirements, leading projects throughout a complete life cycle to include initiation and customer acceptance.
In addition the Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Installation and extensions of customer networks
- Design of customer solutions
- Integration of new solutions in customer network
- Taking responsibility for the delivery of complex projects, leading Project team members
- Establishing and managing realistic project, quality and risk plans.
- Monitoring and controlling team performance
- Acting as the primary point of contact for Project delivery
- Management of project stakeholders
- Control of resources and costs against the project budget
- Leading diverse project teams
- Ensuring that all projects are formally accepted and closed by the customer, and that all project deliverables and documentation are completed to the required standard
- Provision of feedback on project team members eg performance reviews etc
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
- A proven track record of leading end-to-end delivery of projects within a Network roll-out environment
- Proficient use of Project Management tools/Project planning and control techniques/Project risk management
- A good level of Business and negotiation skills
-Sound knowledge of methods for reporting project progress and financial compliance against an agreed plan.
- In-depth technical skills related to high volume RAN rollout (2G, 3G, 4G), Transmission, delivery of Managed Service Contracts
- Possess a deep knowledge about the situation in the telecom industry and general market knowledge about the customers and their technical development stage.
