Project Manager - Securities Lending/Clearing/Equities/Derivatives
A global financial organisation seeks an experienced Project Manager - Securities Lending/Clearing/Equities/Derivatives to join their fast-paced, dynamic team in Frankfurt.
Responsibilities for the Project Manager - Securities Lending/Clearing/Equities/Derivatives:
*End to end project delivery across IT domains.
*Deliver the requirements, system development and testing phases within time, scope, quality and budget.
*Define and manage the IT scope from initiation which may also include various sub projects, of size and complexity.
*Management of an off shore team will be required and delivery to overseas clients.
*Lead and control IT stages of the project life cycle from initiation, design, delivery and post implementation, adhering to project methodologies and best practices.
*Direct the IT delivery of project/program through active sponsorship, stake holder management, leadership to ensure they meet scope, time, cost and quality requirements
*Effectively manage project and business risks covering the entire program.
*Implement an effective reviews, reporting and presentation structure
*Ensure Correct Project Documentation is adhered and maintained to defined Internal Standards and audit requirements.
*Ensure correct budget and cost management or the project is maintained
Experience required for the Project Manager - Securities Lending/Clearing/Equities/Derivatives:
*At least 8 - 10 years of proven project management experience in a financial services environment, ideally within the Clearing knowledge
*A proven track record of successful delivery of complex projects, with a strong focus on IT implementation
*Experience in managerial off shore development teams
Qualifications required for the Project Manager - Securities Lending/Clearing/Equities/Derivatives:
*Formal Project Management qualification or certification (eg Prince2, IPMA, PMI)
*Solid knowledge about financial/banking industry (ideally Clearing and Trading)
*Solid knowledge about Software Development methodologies (Waterfall, UML)

Hourly Rate: €70 - €80
