Aufgabenbeschreibung:
The “IP Network Consolidation” program targets the implementation of a new and highly scalable, efficient, next generation IP/MPLS network infrastructure
This network shall be used for converged IP/MPLS transport for all kinds of services, independent of the kind of traffic
The program is split into several sub-projects focusing on Core-, Service- and Access Layers.
For the first part, concerning Core- and Service Layers, a new detailed design shall be developed based on an existing high level architecture and design
Main part of the commissioning is described as follow:
Preparation of a specific E2E solution design across all network layers including detailed configuration and definition of configurations
Delivery of a detailed implementation plan that describes how to achieve the target state – per individual site – in a step by step detailed, low-level implementation guidance (including target system configuration)
Delivery of a low level design document (Microsoft Word, written in English) with following content:
Detailed design (physical & logical), aligned with all affected departments, considering:
Different kinds of locations
Redundancy configuration (service dependent)
Bandwidth requirements (service dependent)
Delay requirements (service dependent)
Feature availability (vendor dependent)
OSS and performance management systems
Probing solutions
The document shall describe on a detailed level recommended connection scenarios for different kinds of locations
The document shall present the traffic flows of connected services and service elements, such as e.g.: R4 MGW & MSS, EPC:
GGSN/S-GW/P-GW, SGSN/MME, CSDB, O&M, DCN etc.
The design shall be optimised with respect to service trails for all services connected to the related routers (current NCL- and VF-PE routers)
Skillprofil:
Network professional (CCNP or comparable vendor certification)
Knowledge of TK-Network and processes to start immediately
