WANTED: Test Engineer
I am looking for a Test Engineer for a 6 month contract to do stress/performance validation of client's Open Backend applications in scope of the our internal Project. The contractor will join a team of c.a. 10 people and going to perform regular stress/performance testing in a weekly release cycle. The candidate is expected to adapt to our testing procedures and be productive in 3 weeks. The candidate is also expected to perform his/her tasks reliably and work together with our experts in a productive and friendly manner. (The candidate is expected to perform his/her tasks at the client's premises, using client's equipment)
Qualification & Requirements for the position:
- Computer science degree/relevant science or engineering degree also suitable
- Very good working knowledge of testing, especially none-functional testing (minimum of 3 - 5 years experience)
- Performance and stress testing experience would be beneficial
- Good knowledge of HPUX, AIX and/or Linux.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal/writing) and a positive attitude
- Able to adapt quickly to new environment's/tools
- Scripting languages such as Unix Shell script/Python
- Operational knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL
- Knowledge of NOSQL databases
- Good knowledge of software load processes and software development cycles
- Good analytical skills
Start: Asap/June
Duration: 6 months ++
Location: Munich Area (no Home office)
