Desktop Administrator/Desktop Engineer - Germany - 6 months
Location: Hamburg, Germany
Duration: 6 months
Rate: 300 per day
Our client is looking for a motivated Desktop Administrator/Desktop Engineer with at least 3 to 5 years' experience of administrating and implementing desktop Apps like Microsoft Office, Adobe. You will need to be highly customer service focused and possess some great deal of creativeness in troubleshooting and problem solving. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing and marinating the entire EUC infrastructure.
Technical skills required:

Extensive knowledge on installing and configuring Active Directory

Handling Active Directory Migrations & Consolidations

Excellent expertise in Remote troubleshooting hardware and operating system related issues for Desktops and Laptops.

Installation and configuration of deployment tools Troubleshoot deployment related issues Administration maintenance of deployment tools

Knowledge in Shrink wrapped products like Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio, Adobe suite, Dreamweaver, Outlook, Lotus Notes.

Knowledge on antivirus client software installations, patch and hotfix installations and troubleshooting.

Awareness of virtual concepts and different technologies used in virtualization (Citrix, VMware, HyperV)

Knowledge on Virtual desktop implementation (VDI), building VM's with standardized OS images and different virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, HyperV)
