We are looking for a SharePoint Developer 2010 to work at our multinational client in Bonn/Germany.
Tasks:
- the development of a staging and development environment that mirrors the setup and content for the client's Intranet, Extranet, and website;
- the development of the data architecture design;
- the optimization, configuration and security management of existing applications;
- the design and implementation of an SQL 2008 database to meet the requirements of the client´s website, Extranet and Intranet environments, and the migration of Legacy data into this new database;
- the completion of SharePoint 2010 lists so that SQL 2008 records can be edited from the SharePoint list, with appropriate access rights;
- the completion of the development of the Extranet's interface, site architecture, workflows, team spaces (complete with document libraries, lists, workflows, and security), and integration with SQL 2008 database;
- the configuration of out of the box (OOTB) SharePoint 2010 search settings to make use of term store metadata as refiners, the identification of all appropriate content sources, updating crawling and indexing schedule as appropriate, and ensuring that search functionality is available uniformly throughout the site;
- the implementation of page metadata types and sophisticated web analytic tracking codes (tracking outgoing visitor behavior/links, and document downloading statistics using Google Analytics) to monitor users' site behavior;
- the rectification of non-functioning site features such as the image carrousel, page layout inconsistencies, login box and master page security settings; error messages received for published list items on website, among others;
- the documentation of all solutions and customizations applied to the Intranet, website and Extranet environments.
Mandatory required Experience/Knowledge
- 5 years' experience with ASP.NET Development;
- 6 years' experience with SharePoint technology, SharePoint 2010 preferable;
- Experience developing solutions with out-of-the-box and third party solution web parts;
- 4 years' experience with SQL Server, SQL ;
- Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP, ASP.NET, C#, and PowerShell;
- Must have significant knowledge developing SharePoint solutions with XML and web services;
- Fluency in English.
In addition, the successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting and developing sites based on user requirements;
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Experience or strong interest designing cutting-edge website user experiences;
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Preferred certifications include: Microsoft Certified Professional Developer, MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010- Configuration AND Application Development.
