What do we do? We provide innovative solutions and consultancy services to the Corporate & Transaction Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth & Investment Management communities through our teams of highly successful consultants (business driven subject matter experts and technologists).
Role: We now have the need to hire, on a consultancy basis, an experienced Technical Project Manager or Project Manager who has specialised in the Infrastructure and Networking sector and worked upon a variety of Infrastructure based projects. The role we seek to fill is based in Frankfurt and will involve providing services to a major Bank. C andidates must be happy to be based in Germany Monday to Friday or live in this part of the world (working as a freelancer ('Freiberufler').
He/she will be responsible for organising, leading and managing Infrastructure based projects from inception to completion. Will be accountable for capturing and managing Scope, Timelines, Budget and Risk Migration of assigned customer based projects. Will work closely with project team, customers, internal and external stakeholders, and function as a Central Point of Contact for all project related information.
The ideal person offers an impressive career record of working for such firms as vendors, banks, or large companies accountable for the identification, co-ordination, build and supply of Infrastructure and Networking equipment to the business community. He/she must possess the necessary level of expertise to understand what is needed and then able to plan the delivery. It is therefore important that they possess sufficient expertise to successfully converse with SMEs on a technical level, understand the concepts of complex migrations, whilst keeping an eye on costs, and timeframes.

Good knowledge of CISCO Networks Infrastructure

Good knowledge of Extreme Networks Infrastructure

Good Knowledge of Juniper Networks Infrastructure

Knowledge of Windows, Unix, Oracle basic infrastructure

Proficiency with Project Management tools: Spread sheets or MS Project

Good exp. Of MS Office Suite

Good stakeholder and User Liaison skills

Offers PMI/Prince 2 or similar technology expertise

Offers good experience of creating and executing project plans

Career has involved performing business analysis functions to assist
Ideally to have also completed numerous CISCO based training courses, including Certified Design Associate and Network Associate (CCNA).
