Network Engineer - Intrusion Prevention/Sourcefire
Activities/tasks
*Requirements analysis, configuration and operation of security devices and Internet connectivity.
This includes the planning, design, implementation and optimization of intrusion prevention (SourceFire IDS/IPS),
Deny of Service Protection (Radware DDoS),
Cisco (ASA),
Checkpoint (FW1) Firewall and brocade and (ADX) Loadbalancer Infrastructure.
*Operation of Internet connectivity with Cisco Routers and DNS/DHCP.
*Close cooperation with the neighbouring Security & Network teams for the development of an optimal design and stable operation.
Qualifications/Skills:
*Experience in network security.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to work independently, initiative, pronounced problem solving with self confidence and high motivation.
*Very good German and English, spoken and written.
Other requirements:
*Commitment, teamwork, and communication skills, flexibility as well as competent handling of MS- Office applications.
