PROJECT MANAGER - DIABETES
Location: Frankfurt/Main
Duration of assignment:
Starting 12th May 2014, duration 4-6 months
The position requires less than one FTE: 3 day/week onsite
Background:
A Global Diabetes Division wants to develop a software package allowing diabetologists to download and visualize patient data (blood glucose data, insulin data, etc), and have optimal support in clinical decisions.
This software suite is being developed by a third party, and will be deployed in phases in a number of countries in Europe.
The project manager role scope, under the responsibility of a Diabetes medical device project team, is to ensure the overall project management and the different project interactions, to deliver the product on time and on budget. This temporary assignment is for a period of up to 6 months, until there is a full internal structure to handle project management
Skills:
Ease of understanding of business issues and priorities
Good knowledge of software category medical devices (ISO 13485)
Quality system and management process development of medical devices (ISO 62304): Risk Management Software (ISO 62304)
Understanding of human factors (ISO 62508)
Analytical, proactive, self-starter
Very good interpersonal skills and team spirit
Fluent English
Expertise in IT project management (at least 5 years experiences)
Objectives:
- Support the Marketing Product Lead in the implementation of global planning taking into account the structural elements of the software and its deployment in the countries concerned
- Manage the overall project plan (timelines, budget, internal and external resources, deliverables) in relation to the project leader of the third company
- Following the defined project governance, trigger necessary actions to activate project sub-streams and follow up on progress
- Organize and maintain existing and future documentation (Project Definition, Project ID Card, Project Plan, Communication Kits, meeting minutes, etc.)
- Identify potential risks in the overall project plan, and alert the Project team
- Ensure coherence between Sanofi and third party planning related to development activities
- Facilitate project meetings
In summary, this person will ensure the project delivers on time for a launch in key markets Q4 2014.
