Main responsibilities:
Implement new features, code enhancements and bug fixes for existing code
Analyze system problems; formulate scope and objectives for system modifications
Participate with team members on product improvements and innovation
Play an active part in the design of software components
Develop technical documentation and specifications
Location: Frankfurt am Main
Technical Skills:
BS/BA in Computer Science/Information Technology or professional experience
Extensive experience in the .NET Framework, C#, XML, JavaScript
Experience in monitoring WCF Service applications and effectively trouble shooting
Extensive experience in hosting ASP.NET web applications and WCF Services in IIS
Experience in developing multi-tier solutions on the Microsoft Windows Platform, IIS WCF, ASP.NET Web Api
Web Technologies and Webservices (HTTP, SOAP, REST based services, JSON)
Visual Studio IDE, Git, Enterprise Architect
Object oriented development (OOA, OOD, OOP), UML
Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns
Agile Development Practices (Scrum, FDD)
Essential understanding of software testing, TDD, Unit Testing, performance/load testing
Strong experience with server side applications, especially web services and ASP.NET"
Good knowledge of verbal and written English
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary
Show evidence of strong problem solving skills including the ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting
