* Development of Oracle queries and stored procedures to support UI projects or analytic processes* Optimize existing Oracle queries and stored procedures increasing performance to allow responsive UI
* Development of web services and UI components
Skills required:
* Extensive knowledge of Oracle SQL queries and stored procedures
* REST web services
* Solid design and software architecture skills and demonstrated ability
* Java/Groovy script programming
* Experience with charting tool (HighCharts) and async data retrieval
* XML and Xpath (for Presto)
* Java Script, HTML5 programming
* Ajax and Java Script frameworks such as JQuery, Prototype, (DHTMLX nice to have)
* Agile development processes
Like to Have Skills:
* Familiarity with industrial control / SCADA systems
* Development of Jackbe Presto mashup services and apps (version 3.x)
* Offline web application technologies such as IndexDB and HTML5 application caching using manifests
* Familiarity with LINUX (application performance monitoring, tools)
* Familiarity in dealing with large time series data sets
* Familiarity with IBM Informix DB
* Experience with Statistical and analytic programming design and technologies (Matlab, R, etc.)
