For our client we are seeking an IT Systems Engineer (m/w) for a permanent position.Connect user requests, application owner requirements, architectural best practices and strategically defined approaches
Supervise external service providers to implement new and changed solutions
Drive innovations in the solution area
Execute our IT sourcing strategy
Measure, control, report and forecast R&D storage and CPU resources
Develop and maintain proper relationship to customers, suppliers and the relevant IT service providing organizational units
Identify and realize potential for cross-site harmonization and standardization
Evaluate development strategies and technological opportunities in the IT industry and utilize them for our benefit
Bachelor degree or similar education in Computer Science
At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant area
Expert knowledge in Linux, HPC and Load Sharing Facility (LSF) required; Storage(NetApp) desired
Good programming skills in Python and/or Perl desired
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
Intercultural awareness required
Good team player and excellent communication skills required
