VMWare Specialist/Engineer (m/w)
Beschreibung:
In we are starting a project to engineer and deploy a high available VMware infrastructure. Goal of the project is the implementation of a stretched ESX Cluster across two Datacentres on top of a storage virtualization layer based on EMC VPlex technology. This Design is adopted from a vMSC configuration which is certified and provided by VMware. In this context we are offering the position of a VMware technical specialist with engineering, testing and documentation focus.
The project team works in a global setup and the project language is English.
- Configuration of the VMware based, virtual environment (vSphere 5.1+)
- Review and verification of configuration
- Create and execute relevant test cases
- Documentation
- Development and implementation of solutions for configuration management
Anforderungen:
- VMware certification
- Excellent general infrastructure know-how (network, switching, storage)
- Expert knowledge in VMware Clustering and HA solutions especially stretched designs (vMSC)
- Relevant API knowledge (VMWare API, REST, etc.)
- Good knowledge about automation of virtual infrastructures
- Language skills : German/English native/ fluent mandatory
