For our client in Berlin we are looking for a IT Project Manager Build and Deploy (f/m)
Tasks:
The Project Manager is responsible for the Workplace Provisioning project in the Workplace programme. The Workplace Provisioning project is designing, building and rolling out a virtual platform for end user and will either be based on Citrix Xendesktop (including functionality formerly known as XenApp) or VMWare View.
The project will shortly start a pilot for >200 users on a limited functionality set and will roll out further releases of functionality, scale and geography over the next two years.
Will need to quickly come up to speed on the Workplace platform and the organisational landscape so as to communicate effectively with the project sponsors, project resources as well as subject matter experts. PM should leverage the available knowledge base and technical resources to deliver quality project management initiatives that seek to reduce costs, increase performance and maximize efficiency for the Workplace project.
Other required functions include maintaining project plans, coordinating team assignments and tracking progress, tracking issues/risks and escalating as required, creating and resolving change requests in a complex enterprise support organisations.
Skill requirements:
Project Management experience and skills from an enterprise organization in sole oversight of a large IT project
Able to interpret Business requirements
Able to define functional and non-functional requirements
creating and resolving change requests in a complex enterprise support organisations
Fluently English communication
Technical Skill requirements:
preferred to have experience in Client OS projects
extra considerations given for Citrix or VMware session based computing (including VDI)
MS Project and MS Office
