Manage software development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure
Work with development team based on several sites, lead architect to determine technical direction and approach to software design and implementation
Create, manage and track (among other important tasks):
WBS
SW delivery schedule alignment (customer/internal platform releases) - Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers as needed in regard to software deliverables
Feature planning with customers
Risk and issues logs
Status reports
Manage the day-to-day activities of software projects and staff
Coach and train project team members on software development processes and best practices
Contribute to the design and coding of products
Detection of missing procedures and templates in development processes and investing effort on communicating them to responsible body
Qualifications:
University Degree (computer science/information technology)
Experienced in project management and product design
Proficient with MS Project, MS Office applications and following tools: DOORs, Enterprise Architect, MKS
Fundamental understanding of automotive embedded systems development
Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills (German and English), including presentation skills
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently
Self-motivated with ability to drive software development
Willing to travel
