For one of our clients we are looking for a Solution Architect BSS (m/f)The client provides varied integration services for products and solutions in the OSS/BSS portfolio. The primary focus is on creating high quality, innovative, and cost-effective NGOSS solutions to provide a superior service to their customers.
The Solution Architect works within Network Management competence domains. This includes the following areas:
OSS/BSS systems
OSS/BSS & IT Transformation
Service Order Management & Fulfilment
Service Assurance including Performance Management & Alarm handling
Inventory Management
Operation support and readiness
Online/offline charging as well as prepaid solutions
3PP Integration
Fixed line and mobile systems
Key Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for analysing complex customer requirements and proposing solutions in cooperation with the customer
Understanding customer needs and translating them into delivery actions to ensure highest customer satisfaction
Analyse customers process and tool landscape and provide a transition plan to improve efficiency
Selecting or proposing 3rd party suppliers/products for the solutions
Following up the delivered products and solutions on an agreed regular basis with the customer to keep informed about the life cycle evolvement
Taking responsibility and accountability for assigned pre-sales support work
Designing new solutions based on the customer requirement.
Taking customer solution responsible role within the team
Technical lead of onsite and offshore teams
Extensive experience in service delivery. In particular, profound knowledge of SI in OSS domain and software engineering.
Experience with defining and optimizing Business Processes
TMF Frameworx, eTOM, SID, TAM
Knowledge in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Good overview of Open Source communities and development trends
Good knowledge of SI Delivery processes (PROPS-C)
UML, OOA and OOD
Service order management, fulfilment and service assurance
Experience of Amdocs Integration Framework would be a plus
Design of architectures for distributed software systems
Databases, especially Oracle, PostgreSQL, and LDAP
Competence in broadband, IMS, mobile and core networks
Experienced in all phases of a SI development processes, starting from requirements analysis, architecture evaluation and design, implementation until final acceptance test
Able to lead teams (onsite and offshore)
Prepaid charging solutions - preferable Altamira
You have very good verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You must be fluent in oral and written English plus German and have excellent presentation skills, including the ability to adapt summaries and presentations of technical details to an audience.
