For our client, an international consultancy running a SAS project with a bank in Frankfurt, we're currently looking for a technical lead programmer.Primary Skill Set:
SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/SQL in Mainframe environment.
. Strong knowledge and understanding of SAS programming using SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/SQL in a data intense environment.
. Should have proven capability of developing sophisticated SAS macro applications.
. Experience in Mainframe JCL, OPC scheduler.
. Knowledge of Finance data management is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for taking requirements from client, review the same for any possible changes.
. Have experience of doing technical solutioning based on business requirements.
. Ability to write clear and concise technical and system documentation.
• Developing the functionality for an application which is currently live.
• Testing the functionality as unit and integrated piece.
• Has to support UAT and Regression process.
. Exposure to CMMI practices.
. Good written and oral presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with the project offshore team and clients.
As there will be a connection with a Polish facility, it will be a benefit if you have a Polish background or a desire to go ( back ) to Poland. This however is a plus, not a necessity.
