For one of our clients we are currently looking for a Business Analyst (f/m) DWH.
Tasks:
Become member of an existing team and support to replace two legacy applications in the securities operations area with a new data warehouse solution.
Join the other requirement engineers and data analyst in performing the following tasks
Develop and enhance the existing conceptual data model / application Business Object Model (BOM)
Specify data attributes from a business and from a technical perspective in close collaboration with business and IT subject matter experts
Evaluate existing data warehouse sources and identify required data elements (data analysis)
Create end-to-end specifications, i.e. source-to-target from database to database
Define business rules for computed items and complex transformations
Must Have:
Experience in a similar role as requirements engineer / business analyst / data analyst / data architect
Strong banking know-how, especially in the securities area
Data analysis skills (e.g. SQL)
Fluent written and spoken English and German
Strong analytical problem solving skills
Experienced in securities settlement and reporting
Nice to Have:
Experience in data warehouse / Business Intelligence environment is a plus
Experience in ETL tools is a plus
Experience in Reporting / BI Tools is a plus
Degree level qualification in computing
