for a Network, Telephony and Video Contract Manager
Project environment
A Swiss Insurance Company is looking for a Network, Telephony and Video Contract Manager which has the primary responsibility of setting up new or renew contracts in the Network, Telephony and Video area. This includes to manage and drive forward service providers, legal/sourcing departments and internal technical staff in order to evaluate best possible service provider for a given scope/requirements and to have a full contract framework created, agreed, negotiated and signed.
Tasks
• Collect requirements and create scope
• Setup project team, timeline including milestones and deliverables
• Chair regular project team meetings and write meeting minutes
• Provide status reports to Head of Network, Telephony and Video on a regular basis
• Coordinate with selected vendors and service providers
• Create RFPs and evaluate service provider responses
• Work with the technical staff, management to ensure responses meet requirements
• Coordinate due diligence exercises if required
• Setting up contractual documents (e.g. technical statement of work, service management, pricing, MSA) with internal staff, management, legal/sourcing departments and selected service providers
• Participate in the contract negotiation
• Ensure timely delivery of signed contract
• Hand over contract to transition or project manager
Requirements
• A Doer with extensive experience in creating network and telephony managed service contracts from defining requirements, creating RFPs, evaluating service provider responses, setting up contractual documents (e.g. technical statement of work, service management, pricing, MSA) and participate in contract negotiation exercises
• Experienced in working with and coordinate external service providers, internal legal and sourcing departments
• Project Management and coordination methodology in order to ensure timely delivery of a to be agreed and signed contract
• Knowledgeable of Network and Telephony infrastructure environments (mainly Cisco)
• Presentation and communication skills are essential
• Strong Project Management skills are required in order to timely deliver best possible signed/agreed contracts.
• Able to introduce and implement structure in contract management, RFP/contract projects and contract delivery quality assurances
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Experienced in Service Operation Control (SOC) reports
• Microsoft suite of products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• ITIL certification is an advantage
Soft skills
• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
