for an Technical Analyst / SW Engineer in Regulatory and CDC
Project environment
Several large projects including Regulatory (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, FATCA) and CDC (client data confidentiality) and several smaller areas of work at a global Swiss bank.
Tasks
• Act as technical analyst for the DMG CDC program.
• Produce infrastructure and program specifications to support the key projects within Pillar 4 of the above program, notably the migration of confirmation instructions and SSI mastering functionality.
• Work with upstream and downstream connected applications to resolve connectivity issues.
• Analyse, verify and oversee the movement of application infrastructure into a highly secure environment.
Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience working in a technical-oriented position with a large, multinational organisation.
• Highly advantageous: Banking experience, ideally within the FX, reference data and settlement domain.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Websphere, Java, MQ, SQL and Linux Experience of reference data management applications, large data volumes, data design, user interaction and data/business rules.
• Familiarity with RUP/EUP is a plus.
Soft skills
• Ability to work in a disciplined and structured manner in a high pressure environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong English skills, German is a plus.
