Bilingual/German/English Speaking Data Centre/Server Engineer/Microsoft
German and English speaking Server Engineer required in Reutlingen (Germany) for a 12 month contract working for a prestigious client within the financial sector. You will be providing 2nd & 3rd Line support and oversee the day to day activities on the Windows Servers in the EMEA region.
The server engineer will be providing 2nd line support for windows based Servers and enterprise applications such as Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012, MS SQL , IIS, and VMWare v4.1 & 5.1. You will be setting up and configuring new core Servers, installing software to core Servers and fault finding to core Servers.
It is essential that the successful Server Engineer holds the following skills.
*Minimum of five years experience in this field
*Solid background with Windows Server
*Proven experience with VMWare ESX Server
*Strong background in application/production support, application/systems build and configuration
*ITIL methodologies experience
*Troubleshooting
