We are looking for Test Engineer (m/f) for our client in Nurnberg with the below requested skills and for the following tasks:
Tasks:
- Responsibility for a cost effective functional test solution.
- Discuss and set up the test concept with R&D
- Write, debug and optimize the automated test program
- Establish and adapt the test environment (instruments, fix-ture, cabeling, )
- Prepare the documentation (SW, HW, test environment, test instruction, repair instruction, )
- Drive/participate in reviews
- Execute the models test
- Train manufacturing
- Transfer the test solution to manufacturing (international travel required)
- Support test and repair activities in the factor
Skills/Profound knowledge in:
- SW: TestStand (National Instruments), LabView (National Instruments), Creation of instrument driver, Remote control of measurement instruments
- HW: Optical transmission and fiber optic, WDM, SDH, Sonet, OTN
- Test processes
- Documentation: Microsoft Office
- fluent in English and German
- Willingness to travel international
The start will be ASAP for a project-related employment at Harvey Nash or a freelance position in Nurnberg.
