Procurement Manager for Engineering Services - Düsseldorf/GermanyA procurement manager for engineering service is needed for one of our international clients in the Telecommunications arena, on 2 year fixed term contract basis in Düsseldorf. Fluent German and English language skills and eligibility to work in the EU are required. Start date is asap.
Responsibilities:
Service partner qualification, selection and management
Supporting the Procurement Director to set up a service strategy
Qualifying proper suppliers for telecom service
Negotiating with subcontractors to maximize company’s benefit, organizing the bidding activities from inquiry preparation, offers evaluation and contract signing
Tracking purchasing activities and measurements
Working with internal team and external teams such as product lines, learning service, procurement team etc. to achieve project and department goals
Working with the category managers to achieve the procurement KPIs
Collecting and cost benchmarking for telecom services
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in telecommunications or equivalent
At least 3 years work experience in telecommunications or enterprise industry, at least 2 years experience in outsourcing (from telecom manufacturer side or telecom implementation subcontractor side is preferable)
Strong background in telecom service or enterprise marketing knowledge, including construction service, operation and maintenance, 3rd party equipment maintenance, etc.
Strong negotiation skills; proven procurement cost-down track; strong leadership and management skills; g
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Fluent in German and English language
