IT Infrastructure Engineer - Wintel/Citrix - Germany - Mulheim
Role: IT Infrastructure Engineer - Wintel/Citrix
Location: Mulheim - Germany (6 Month Contract with possible extension)
Daily Rate: Euro
This is a very exciting opportunity for any Infrastructure Engineer to join a very successful and growing global business.
The successful Infrastructure Engineer will be required to relocate to Mulheim in Germany.
They are an exciting company to be part of and the successful candidate will be working in a technically strong team and will be hands on with the latest technologies.
The successful candidate will be engaged in new technology roll outs which includes migrating the entire company to a virtual desktop environment, deploying the latest Microsoft and Citrix technologies.
Required Skills:
- Experience in a 2nd/3rd Line Support Role
- Excellent experience with Microsoft Technologies
- Experience supporting Thin Clients: Citrix Solutions - XenClient/XenDesktop/Xenapp
- Core understanding of Networking
- Good knowledge of Hardware
- Ability to travel (Europe/UK sites and occasional USA site)
- German language skills a bonus but not essential
- Any Microsoft or Citrix certification would be advantageous
This really is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a Global Business on a contract basis for an initial 6 month period. The role will probably last for 12 months. This is a varied role that will involve exciting travel to other sites in Europe.
Important:
You must be prepared to relocate to Mulheim in Germany for the duration of the contract.
