Position Summary:The Planner/Scheduler will be a member of the Engineering Team, and will work closely with the project management office in the Co-ordination, organisation, and scheduling of strategic projects on site
General Scope Of Responsibilities: will include (but are not limited to):
Maintain overall integrated schedules for key capital projects at the site
Liaise with all SME's bi-weekly to review progress/identify areas of concern, resource problems etc and update schedule (Microsoft Project) accordingly
Obtain buy-in to the schedule from the whole project team and co-ordinate schedule interfaces between the different areas/departments.
Work with the resource managers to generate required reports
Chair planning meetings/develop micro schedules and mitigation plans with the teams for specific areas experiencing issues.
Schedule monitoring and critical path Analysis. Ability to mitigate against project delays.
Qualifications And Experience:
5 years + experience in planning/scheduling on major capital investment projects.
Previous experience within the pharma/Bio industry preferred
Previous experience in both project planning and/or operations planning required
Experience with MS Project, MS Project Server and MS Excel preferred
Third level qualification in a Science/Engineering/Business discipline no must
Good understanding of project life cycle from start to finish on multi-disciplined projects is essential
