Purpose of the Role:
Support the provision of Informatica to the Linde world through administrational excellence.
Principal responsibilities:
The overall target of Global Data Services is to provide guidelines, governance and toolsets to
enhance Linde Data across the globe and especially in the lights of upcoming data migrations provide
a reliable platform for technical execution.
For this purpose, Informatica has been selected as the global data tool suite to serve various needs of
the business to extract, transform and load data. A global data services team is being established to
maintain the toolset as much as to set-up and manage the related governance structures and
processes.
The Technical Administrator within this initiative is required to ensure the availability of required
technical infrastructures of Informatica and the related interfaces to the source and target systems.

In the daily work, the Technical Administrator will support the initiative through:
- Proactively and regularly monitor Informatica environment and identify, investigate and
implement infrastructure enhancement possibilities in line with the exercise (disk space,
database space, shared directories, automation and enhancements)
- Setting-up, re-activating & de-activating of (new) users as requested by the different regions
(including Informatica Users, Citrix & UNIX users as needed)
- Train new technical (GDS) users on the global roles & responsibilities ie support training plan
creation; monitor & guide first steps in the system
- Manage incidents on infrastructure and performance issues, follow through on existing tickets
until resolution; communication from and into the GDS & regional data teams, address
information on release changes, upgrades, planned downtime etc. and feed information through
as relevant
- Set-up connections to new/additional systems
- Set-up additional/changed data table extractions
- For each new/changed data table extracts create corresponding CRs to transport extract ABAP
Programs through Q & P systems
- Authority for the overall job scheduling desing
- Owner of the deployment release cycle for objects from Dev to Prod
