My client is one of the global leading ICT solutions providers; due to business expansion, they are looking for a German speaking Key Account Manager starting in October to join the team based in Munich, Germany

Main Duties for the Account Manager role:
Maintain rapport with c-levels from the designated key account in Germany
Collect the relevant market information concerning network technology and design work plans
Visit potential and existing customers to capture sales opportunities and analyze customers' needs;

Responsibilities for the Account Manager role:
Coordinate internal resource allocation and feasibility studies for potential projects
Organize and execute activities, such as communication conference with customers
Evaluate company capabilities to meet customer needs
Lead tender proposal and relevant documents preparation based on the customers' request for proposal (RFP);
Determine project scope together with technical and project management departments based on an understanding of customers' requirements, and submit the tender proposal;
Participate in contract negotiation


Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics or computer science
Minimum 10 years experience in the telecommunications industry
Experience with tier one telecom vendors or operators is desirable
Good project management skills, proven track record of business development and account management within large organizations
Strong technical understanding of mobile access networks technologies
Good networking and relationship management skills, target driven and results focused
Experience of working with different cultures in complex environments, working in virtual teams
Good interpersonal skills and Ability to succeed in an ever changing environment
Highly flexible, organized and effective time manager
English must be business level

This is a fantastic opportunity to join in a fast growing business with up to 30% national travel. You must be a fluent German speaker with 5-10 years experience as Senior Account Manager or Key Account Manager in the telecom industry.
