JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE
Senior Manager IT Supplier Management (English speaking is sufficient)

ROLE
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- To ensure that commercial and business relationships and engagements with suppliers are handled according to commercial, risk and business best practice and in the interest of our Global IT.
- To take care that the products and services procured in the area of indirect materials and services will meet cost, quality and availability expectations.
- Increase visibility and transparency of vendor relationships and GIT Supplier Strategy
Key Responsibilities:
- Owns the contract and vendor compliance process for respective COE´s and cross functional Categories in terms of guaranteeing effective, and efficient processes
- Accountable for definition and successful implementation of a preferred supplier strategy process for respective COE´s and cross functional Categories
- Accountable for the achievement of performance management expectations regarding the request to pay process in terms of cost, quality and time
- Actively drive and execute the internal processes to define the scope for all needed services
- Act as single point of contact to our Vendors and to CP process for respective COE´s and cross functional Categories
- Accountable for the GIT strategy within the respective categories. Set up guidelines and procedures for respective COE´s and cross functional Categories
- Set up and improve a global contract management solution which include reporting procedures for strategic decisions and support features
- Project manager for major projects, ie RFP´s
Authorities:
- Contract approval for our company within the context of general representational authority
Key Relationships:
- Internal within our Group: executives, department heads, legal council, Finance (CP)
- External, in supplier organization: key account manager, executives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Significant Supplier management & project management skills
- Broad technical/business knowledge in own functional area with knowledge of other areas
- Excellent communications skills with capability to interact with teams and persons inside and outside the group
- Possess a strong set of skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience.
- Broad & deep knowledge in own functional area, combining with broad knowledge of other areas
- Improve entire products, processes or systems by using personal experience, feedback and best practices
Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bsc./Msc or comparable professional education, combined business and legal experience
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Additional good knowledge of German language preferred
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience required
Salary:
Region: Bavaria
Country: Germany
Fixed Salary: €75,000 - €95,000
Variable Part/Bonus: €11,250 - €19,000
Total Compensation: €86,250 - €114,000
Contract Type: Full time
Contract Duration: Open ended
