Migration, integration, 3GPP, Linux; Oracle, Java, Perl, Mobile Business, Quality & CiscoWe are urgently seeking a Service Migration Engineer to work in Bonn.
This role is based on the Introduction of Policy & Data Charging Services and Solutions based on a new PCRF platform. As part of this, some of the enabler system and technology experience will be preferred e.g. common functionalities for Fair Usage Policy, fixed & mobile environment, Roaming Controls (bandwidth throttling, pass control) and RAN congestion as well as basic IP transport and traffic management.
The position is effectively a Technical Engineering role on integration and validation activities for the introduction of a new 3GPP Policy Charging Rule Function (PCRF), planning and execution of test cases including tracing and trouble shooting
Skills:
Linux; Oracle, Java, Perl & Cisco.
RADIUS, LDAP, HTML Protocols; 3GPP R9 and R10 standards for Gx and Gy protocols (Diameter).
Unix commands/file systems and Unix application installation and shell/perl scripting. Tracing and troubleshooting
Mobile Business, Quality & Telecommunication.
GSM, GPRS, UMTS, LTE and IMS network infrastructure. Voice and Data services and associated Mobile Applications. Integration and Acceptance Testing of Telecommunication Services
German and English
Basic Project Management ability and communication skills for internal and external communication, teamplayer, target orientated & TCI/IP.
