Our client is seeking a Ruby On Rails focussed System Architect. The ideal candidate must be able to prototype platforms and create scalable solutions. We are ideally seeking a genius coder with a strong understanding of software and business alike.
This individual will need the ability to build platforms from scratch and be able to build good sustainable code that will last 3-5 years.
As well as key skills in Ruby On Rails, the ideal candidate will be someone who has the knowledge of a bandwidth of code. This is essential for the role as the individual will be working with multiple tech, including; C++, Javascript and HTML.
Essential Key skills and experience;
- Ruby On Rails is a must for the platform (5+ years )
- Experience in building platforms (4+ years)
- Experience in building a sustainable platform from scratch
Desirable skills and experience;
- C++ and JavaScript
- Payments background would be good
- Video streaming and audio streaming or large social networks.
- Understanding of codec and compression
Location: Berlin
Rate: €350 - €450
